Je viens de m’entretenir avec le Président des Émirats arabes unis suite aux frappes israéliennes à Doha. Le respect de la souveraineté des États est un principe indispensable à la stabilité de la région, tout comme la solution à deux États. J’ai redit au Président Mohamed Bin Zayed l’urgence accrue qu’il y avait de parvenir enfin à un accord permettant la libération de tous les otages et la mise en œuvre d’un cessez le feu à Gaza à même d'apporter le secours nécessaire aux Palestiniens de Gaza. Il faut une fin à la guerre qui chaque jour met davantage à risque la stabilité régionale.

W związku z wtargnięciem rosyjskich dronów do Polski, podjąłem decyzję o mobilizacji trzech myśliwców Rafale, aby wesprzeć ochronę polskiej przestrzeni powietrznej i wschodniej flanki Europy wraz z naszymi sojusznikami z NATO. Złożyłem to zobowiązanie wczoraj polskiemu premierowi. Rozmawiałem również na ten temat z sekretarzem generalnym NATO i premierem Wielkiej Brytanii, który również jest zaangażowany w ochronę wschodniej flanki. Bezpieczeństwo kontynentu europejskiego jest naszym najwyższym priorytetem. Nie ulegniemy rosnącemu zastraszaniu ze strony Rosji.

Following the Russian drone incursions into Poland, I have decided to deploy three Rafale fighter jets to contribute to the protection of Polish airspace and of NATO’s Eastern Flank together with our Allies. I made this commitment yesterday to the Polish Prime Minister. I have also discussed this matter with the NATO Secretary General and with the British Prime Minister, who is likewise engaged in the defense of the Eastern Flank. The security of the European continent is our top priority. We will not yield to Russia’s growing intimidation.

Suite aux incursions de drones russes en Pologne, j’ai décidé de mobiliser trois chasseurs Rafale pour contribuer à la protection de l’espace aérien polonais et du Flanc Est de l’Europe avec nos alliés de l’OTAN. Je m’y étais engagé hier auprès du Premier ministre polonais. Je me suis également entretenu à ce sujet avec le Secrétaire général de l'OTAN, et le Premier ministre britannique, également impliqué dans la protection du Flanc Est. La sécurité du continent européen est notre priorité absolue. Nous ne céderons pas face aux intimidations croissantes de la Russie.

Excellent phone call with President @realDonaldTrump. We discussed the troubling developments in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, particularly following Russian drone incursions into Poland. We also shared our concerns about the situation in the Middle East, in the aftermath of the Israeli strikes in Qatar. Close cooperation between Europeans and Americans is crucial on each of these fronts. Together, we can make a decisive contribution to peace and security.

Nous avons échangé sur les développements préoccupants de la guerre d’agression russe en Ukraine, en particulier suite aux incursions de drones russes en Pologne. Nous avons aussi partagé nos inquiétudes sur la situation au Moyen-Orient, suite aux frappes israéliennes au Qatar. La coopération des Européens et des Américains est cruciale sur chacun de ces fronts. Ensemble, nous sommes en mesure d’apporter une contribution décisive à la paix et à la sécurité.

I just spoke with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim, following yesterday’s Israeli strikes in Doha. I told him: these strikes are unacceptable. I condemn them. I reaffirmed France’s commitment to the sovereignty and security of Qatar. I expressed my wish that negotiations for the release of all hostages still held by Hamas, as well as for the implementation of a ceasefire, resume without delay. I paid tribute to Qatar’s constant efforts toward this goal. This permanent state of war in Gaza cannot continue. Two peoples, two states. Peace and security for all. We are working toward this with all our partners, in view of the upcoming Conference on the two-state solution to be held in New York on September 22.

Je me suis entretenu avec l’Émir du Qatar Cheikh Tamim suite aux frappes israéliennes hier à Doha. Je lui ai dit : ces frappes sont inacceptables. Je les condamne. J’ai rappelé l’attachement de la France à la souveraineté et à la sécurité du Qatar. Je souhaite que les négociations pour la libération de tous les otages encore retenus par le Hamas et la mise en œuvre d’un cessez-le-feu reprennent sans tarder. Je rends hommage aux efforts constants du Qatar à cette fin. Cet état de guerre permanent à Gaza ne peut plus durer. Deux peuples et deux États. La paix et la sécurité pour tous. Nous y travaillons avec tous nos partenaires dans la perspective de la conférence sur la solution à deux États qui se tiendra à New-York le 22 septembre prochain.

Właśnie rozmawiałem z Premierem Polski oraz Sekretarzem Generalnym NATO w związku z naruszeniem przez wiele rosyjskich dronów polskiej przestrzeni powietrznej. Wtargnięcia te są niedopuszczalne i stanowią kolejny dowód eskalacyjnej postawy Rosji. Potwierdziłem pełne wsparcie Francji dla Polski i podkreśliłem naszą gotowość do większego zaangażowania we wzmacnianie obrony polskiej przestrzeni powietrznej i bezpieczeństwa wschodniej flanki NATO.

I just spoke with the Polish Prime Minister and with the NATO Secretary General following the incursion of several Russian drones into Polish airspace. These incursions are intolerable and provide yet another demonstration of Russia’s escalatory posture. I reiterated France’s full support to Poland and emphasized our readiness to contribute further to strengthening Poland’s air defense and the security of NATO’s Eastern Flank.

Je viens d’échanger avec le Premier ministre polonais ainsi qu’avec le Secrétaire général de l’OTAN suite à l’incursion de plusieurs drones russes dans l’espace aérien polonais. Ces incursions sont intolérables et sont une nouvelle démonstration de l’attitude escalatoire de la Russie. J’ai réitéré le plein soutien de la France à la Pologne et souligné notre disponibilité à contribuer davantage au renforcement de la défense aérienne de la Pologne et de la sécurité du Flanc Est de l'OTAN.

Wtargnięcie rosyjskich dronów w polską przestrzeń powietrzną podczas ataku przeprowadzonego przez Rosję na Ukrainę jest po prostu nie do przyjęcia. Potępiam to w najostrzejszych słowach. Wzywam Rosję do zakończenia tej niebezpiecznej eskalacji. Ponawiam wobec narodu polskiego i jego rządu nasze pełne wyrazy solidarności. Wkrótce odbędę rozmowę z Sekretarzem Generalnym NATO Markiem Rutte. Nie pójdziemy na żadne kompromisy w kwestii bezpieczeństwa Sojuszników.

The incursion of Russian drones into Polish airspace during an attack carried out by Russia against Ukraine is simply unacceptable. I condemn it in the strongest terms. I call on Russia to put an end to this reckless escalation. I reiterate to the Polish people and their government our full solidarity. I will soon speak with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. We will not compromise on the security of the Allies.

L’incursion de drones russes dans l’espace aérien polonais au cours d’une attaque conduite par la Russie contre l’Ukraine est tout simplement inacceptable. Je la condamne avec la plus grande fermeté. J’appelle la Russie à mettre fin à cette fuite en avant. Je réitère au peuple polonais et à son gouvernement notre pleine solidarité. Je m'entretiendrai prochainement avec le Secrétaire général de l'OTAN Mark Rutte. Nous ne transigerons pas avec la sécurité des Alliés.

France strongly condemns the terrorist attack that has just occurred in East Jerusalem. I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the entire Israeli people. The spiral of violence must come to an end. Only a political solution will bring back peace and stability for all in the region.

La France condamne avec la plus grande fermeté l‘attentat qui vient de survenir à Jérusalem Est. J‘adresse mes plus sincères condoléances aux familles des victimes et à tout le peuple israélien. Russia has once again rained down hundreds of drones and a dozen missiles on Ukraine overnight, striking indiscriminately — including residential areas and the seat of government. My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones, and with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. Together with Ukraine and our partners, we stand for peace. Russia, meanwhile, is locking itself ever deeper into the logic of war and terror. By Ukraine’s side, we will continue to do everything to ensure that a just and lasting peace prevails.
